Senoia, Georgia bed and breakfast: The Veranda Historic B&B Inn
Several public rooms in the two story inn still have their original ornate tin ceilings and light fixtures. The original clawfoot tub and pedestal sink in the original bathroom add to the inn's historical ambiance.

Constructed of Georgia heart pine, the inn featured one of the first commercial uses of electricity in the Senoia area. The house has eleven fireplaces throughout.

Many notable guests have visited the inn including Margaret Mitchell who interviewed Confederate veterans for her book, "Gone With the Wind". William Jennings Bryan stayed at the inn in 1908 while running for president.

Local attractions include antique shops, historic tours (Senoia has over 113 sites on the National Historic Register), golf, Calloway Gardens and the Little White House (30 miles), Riverwood Studios where movies such as Fried Green Tomatoes, the War, etc., were filmed. Many movie stars in these movies have stayed at the Veranda. "Broken Bridges" was filmed here.

The inn is an ideal setting for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, weddings, luncheons, business conferences, family reunions, special parties and events. The main dining room will seat fifty with additional seating in the formal dining room for twenty-five more.

The Veranda is one block from historic Senoia's main street where the famous Holberg Furniture and many nice shops are located along with several antique stores. The Veranda was voted 1990 Inn of the Year.

Antiques, historic tours, special local area fairs and festivals, golf, Riverwood Studios, small towns, Starr's Mill, the unique Senoia Cemetery.

Driving distance to Calloway Gardens and Roosevelt's Little White House and Atlanta, Atlanta Motor Speedway, and rocking on the Veranda's porch are among some of the activities guests enjoy.

Bridal Suite: Features a magnificent late 1800s renaissance revival burled walnut bed, marble top dresser, and majestic armoire in a comfortable and cozy setting. The bathroom features a two-person whirlpool bath for relaxation and enjoyment.
All bedrooms in the Veranda have their own modern, full bathrooms. The rooms have the original warm pine floors (most have the original light fixtures) along with beautiful room decor. Most of the Inn is furnished with antiques and period reproductions.
