Bed and Breakfast Description

We have everything you need to relax and enjoy the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. Our lodge is tucked away in a secluded meadow, and offers breathtaking mountain and woodland views from every window. Just sit back in front of a toasty fire and gaze out the large living room window.

Your stay includes a full country breakfast, family style, enough to get you through a morning of hiking, skiing or sightseeing. After being out all day, you may want to just stay in for the evening. For parties of 6 adults or more you can enjoy a delicious dinner at South Meadow. Your meal includes soup, salad, main course and dessert; just let us know at breakfast that you plan to have dinner with us.

Cross-country ski out our door onto the 50 kilometers of groomed Olympic Trails at Mt. Van Hoevenberg and in warmer weather enjoy mountain biking. Every season our Lodge is just a few steps away from a wide range of outdoor activities.

Lake Placid is a short scenic drive away, where you can enjoy the shops and many fine restaurants. There are many nearby lakes and rivers for fishing, paddling and swimming. Enjoy hiking or biking the many area trails.

However you choose to spend your day, at its end your muscles won't be able to resist relaxing in our wood-fired sauna.

Most Popular Rooms:

Adirondack Room: On the ground floor with forest views. Spacious with a king size bed & gas burning stove. With the turn of a knob, a beautiful fire appears with all the ambience & warmth of a real woodburning stove. Whirlpool bathtub & stall shower.

Wildflower Room: Is calm and relaxing with a king size bed. Spacious, yet cozy, decorated with lavender walls and floral accents. A large dormer window offers morning light and inviting mountain views. The private bathroom has a stall shower.

Check In Instructions:

Guests arriving outside of the check-in time of 3 pm to 9 pm, please call ahead to make arrangements for early check-in. Late check-ins are welcome; self-check-in instructions will be awaiting you.
