Bed and Breakfast Description

Virginia City, Nevada bed and breakfast: B Street House Bed and Breakfast

Indulge yourself and be pampered with warmth and hospitality during your stay. We offer the simple restorative pleasures of rest, relaxation, good food and natural beauty set in the elegance of the Old West.

Built in 1876, the “B” Street House was completely restored in 2007, adhering to the National Park Service Guidelines. Now, finely appointed in period antiques and reproductions, the “B” Street House will transport you to the charm of the Victorian era in the Silver State.

We serve an exceptional full breakfast featuring seasonal fruits, home baked breads and pastries, and a hot entrée which changes daily. At tea time, sample fresh cookies, snacks, gourmet coffee, assorted teas, and cocoa selections served in the parlor.

All “B” Street House guest rooms are upstairs, accessible via the original stair case. All rooms feature private baths, cable TV with DVD player, queen-sized beds, private thermostat, fine chocolates upon arrival, and other up-scale amenities. Each private bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Two rooms have large windows with picturesque views of the city and surrounding landscape. Our middle room features a skylight. Mini-fridge

Downstairs in the parlor is a well-stocked library inviting you to peruse local newspapers and books about Nevada and the American West. Or, sit in the sunny bay window and enjoy the bustle of B Street. At your request, your hosts will be happy to crank the antique Victrola for a musical treat.
