Come experience the laid-back luxury of our Vermont bed and breakfast. Romantic and secluded, the Yellow Farmhouse Inn bed and breakfast is nestled on 10 acres, only minutes from Sugarbush and Mad River Glen Ski Resorts, an award-winning Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed golf course, hiking, biking, kayaking, birdwatching, antiquing, restaurants, shopping, nightlife and everything the Mad River Valley has to offer.

Our 1850's farmhouse was stylishly renovated in 2003, maintaining the charm of the original dairy farm while offering guests the amenities of a fine hotel. Our eight spacious guestrooms boast king or queen beds with luxurious linens and piles of pillows and elegant private baths with Jacuzzis. Select guestrooms offer Vermont Castings stoves to warm you up after a day in the fresh mountain air.

Morning greets you with a full gourmet breakfast, which will delight your senses and prepare you for a day of activities. A variety of breakfast entrees set this Inn apart from most.

The area is best known for its two spectacular ski resorts, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. Our convenient location is just a short stroll from Historic Waitsfield Village, the Covered Bridge, shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities and nightlife.

Most Popular Rooms:

Olivia: Romantic and luxurious, features a mahogany king poster canopy bed with detailed woodwork. A Vermont Castings stove and Jacuzzi make this room a guest favorite.

Catherine: Boasts beautiful views of the mountains and our horse pasture from its 2nd floor windows. A king size bed and Vermont Castings woodstove will make you want to make this room home, right after a soak in your private Jacuzzi.

Reservation Notes:

Rates are per room for two people, and include a gourmet breakfast. Please add $25.00 for each additional guest in room. Rates are subject to change. Vermont Room and Meals Tax or other surcharges are not included. A credit card number is required in order to guarantee your reservation. Full payment is required for single-night stays and reservations made within 14 days of arrival date. We require at least 14 days notice, should you need to change or cancel your reservation. A service fee of $25.00 will be charged to your credit card for any cancellation. Additionally, if you must cancel within 14 days of your reserved arrival date, the full reservation will be charged if we are unable to fill the room for an equal stay. You may check into your room after 3 pm. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 7 pm. Check-out time is 11 am. Every guestroom is equipped for telephone, television and Internet access. TVs and phones are available on request. Our location receives excellent Sprint and Verizon wireless signals! For the comfort of our guests, smoking is not permitted in the Inn. Supervised children 6 years and older are welcome in the Kimball Suite.
