Clarence, New York bed and breakfast: Asa Ransom House
We offer rooms with canopy beds, many rooms have fireplaces, and some have porches or balconies.

The original structure, which dates back to 1853, houses the library, gift shop, and snug. Our dining rooms were added in 1975 with careful concern to keep the charm of the 19th century. The South wing, completed in 1993, overlooks the rear gardens and pond. The ruins of the gristmill are at the rear of the property.

Our charming gift shop offers selective items that are sure to spread sunshine. It is literally a "village of gifts" in a single room! Browse through flowers & herb teas, crafts & cards, puzzles & plush, and many other gifts to brighten anyone's day... maybe yours!

Our Library is your living room... a big jigsaw puzzle or checkers table awaits you! We have chess and many fine periodicals and books. Old radio programs on cassettes are also available.

Recognized locally on garden tours, the garden enlightens our guests about the wonderful world of herbs and confirms their ability to enhance the quality of life & bring delight to every kitchen and garden. Our collection of over 70 herbs on the west side of the Inn is one of the highlights of the property.

Rehearsal dinners, boutique weddings & showers. Afternoon Tea (Tue, Thu & Sat.), lunch on Wednesdays. Dinner menu has regional favorites and changes seasonally.
