Palatka, Florida bed and breakfast: The Azalea House
The Azalea House offers a refreshing return to a more gracious time. Turning onto the palm and oak-lined streets of Palatka's Historic District, time seems to roll back to the late 1800s. Lush blankets of Spanish moss hang from the tree limbs, bowing with the breeze as if to greet visitors who approach the inn.

There are over 200 pieces of needlework displayed throughout the inn. For those who love to stitch, there is an onsite counted cross stitch shop specializing in reproduction samplers. To go along with all the charts we also carry many hand-dyed linens (r&r, lakeside, birds of a feather) and fibers (weeks dye works, sampler threads, gloriana, needlepoint silk & DMC).

We also may be the only B&B to sell a collectible figurine known as the Wee Forest Folk. These adorable pieces (mostly mice) have been made totally in the USA by a family in Massachusetts for over 30 years. To learn more about them please go to their website www.weeforestfolk.com and we would be more than happy to order and ship a special piece to you.
