Bed and Breakfast Description

Enjoy the beautiful Finger Lakes in upstate New York and the Seneca and Cayuga Lake Wine Trails. Our Inn is right in the heart of 25 New York State Parks and a variety of museums and historic homes. The countryside is dotted with over 90 wineries, orchards, dairy farms, resorts and country inns.

We have been renovating and rejuvenating Juniper Hill B&B in Upstate New York for the past year in anticipation of guests starting May 2007. Our Inn, a historic circa 1921 Federal/Colonial Revival design, was modeled after the Governor's Palace in Williamsburg.

The main floor of Juniper Hill B&B serves as a common relaxation and socializing area for guests, as well as display space for The Art Gallery at Juniper Hill. The Art Gallery concentrates on American Impressionist Fine Art of the early 20th century, reflective of the era of construction of the historic mansion. All paintings and select antiques, furnishings, and objects of interest in the B&B are available for sale.

We welcome you to stay with us in one of our luxurious rooms or just take a break during your tour of the Finger Lakes and area wineries in Upstate NY to view the Art Gallery offerings. Juniper Hill is truly located in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We are within minutes of both Seneca and Cayuga Lakes and their Wine Trails, as well as Ithaca, home to Cornell University and Ithaca State College. Discover easy access to fine dining, shopping, museums, music, theater, hiking, boating, breathtaking waterfalls and gorges in Upstate NY.

For those who prefer to leave their cars on site, Juniper Hill is a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street, Trumansburg/Route 96. The Trumansburg golf course is less than half a mile down the street. Around the corner is the infamous Rongovian Embassy, and a side-walked stroll takes you to the Trumansburg Fairgrounds, home to the Grassroots Festival. Every Wednesday afternoon May through October, local produce and crafts are available at the nearby Trumansburg Farmers' Market. We offer our assistance in exploring all the local area has to offer.
