 Originally built as a duplex for two cavalry captains, this beautifully renovated home features 2 dining rooms, a lovely parlor and comfortable library, furnished with period furniture and perfect for relaxing and meeting new friends. Adding a special ambience to the inn are Asian textiles and artifacts acquired during the innkeepers' time spent abroad. For real romance, our larger rooms and suites have working fireplaces. All rooms are furnished with luxury linens and antiques. We serve a beautiful and appealing variety of breakfast menus, beginning with a fruit and hot bread course, followed by a delicious entree course with a breakfast meat and accompaniments. Sample menus include: Peach Delight, Wild Blueberry Scone with Devonshire Cream, Tarte' Saint-Germaine, Broiled Tomato, Canadian Maple Ham, Sugar-Baked Pineapple, Coffee, Tea. Warm Curried Fruit, Cinnamon Streusel Muffin, Baked Eggs with Caviar, Asparagus Bundle, Bacon Strips, Toasted Buttermilk Cake with Home-made Preserves, Coffee, Tea. Area Attractions and Activities: Canoe down the Sequatchie; experience the white water thrill of the Ocoee (of '96 Summer Olympics fame). Go hang-gliding off the western cliffs of Lookout Mountain. Drive through the Chickamauga National Military Park and spend time at the Visitors Center. Visit the largest freshwater aquarium in the world and see Chattanooga's new 3-D IMAX theater. Visit Rock City and Ruby Falls, Chattanooga Convention Center & Visitors Bureau, Hunter Museum of American Art, Minor Leaugue Baseball at Bellsouth Park, Cloudland Canyon, Creative Discovery Museum, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, Riverbend Festival, Chattanooga Zoo, Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, Chattanooga Riverfront.
