Bed and Breakfast Description

Welcome to the historic romance and elegant atmosphere of a bygone era. The Strasburg Village Inn, circa 1788, offers ten classically appointed Williamsburg style rooms with private baths (3 Jacuzzis), TV, and air conditioning. Upon entering from the massive front porch, one experiences the warm welcoming lobby with a magnificent fireplace originally from the Haas Mansion in Lancaster.

Our bed and breakfast experience begins with it the unique charm of the past. Period furniture provides each unit with its own distinctiveness. Some units are suites and have a separate sitting area in addition to a bedroom. Many have canopy beds. For the relaxation and intermingling of our guests, there is a reading and TV room available.

In the morning, guests eat a breakfast with pancakes made to order, fruit in season,cereals, breads, juice & coffee. This is Served in our Upper Breakfast Room directly, next door to the accompaniment of the clip-clop of Amish horses and buggies right outside. At 10am guests can browse through the Country Store and to see quality country wares, collectibles, penny candy, etc., in antique display cases. A stroll through the borough of Strasburg with its exquisitely restored homes is a perfect compliment to this never-to-be-forgotten experience.

Guests are permitted to use our sister inns pool/hot tub, which is open from 10 AM-9 PM daily in the months of June-Sept. 1st. The Greystone Manor Bed and breakfast is only 10 minutes from the inn.
