Bed and Breakfast Description

We offer seven guestrooms all with private baths. Enjoy a full country breakfast to start your day and then head out to explore the many area attractions and activities.

Enjoy a frosty mug of beer or a fine glass of wine after an eventful day. Located to the rear of what used to be the barn, the pub sits just inside, off of a covered porch with a lovely view of the woods behind the Inn. Frequented exclusively by guests, this is a great place to mingle with others, play a game of darts, or just sit and relax. On our back deck, we offer a year round heated hot tub, the perfect place to relax. Wireless Internet is available.

Some of Vermont's best trophy trout fishing exists in the nearby Black River, and if you want a bigger fish to fry, the Connecticut River is minutes away.

There are five top notch golf courses just a short drive away. Shopping at fine boutiques and antique shops is everywhere you look.

In the fall, southern Vermont is famous for the best color in the Green Mountains. Dining choices run the gamut, from five-star, award-winning restaurants to classic country diners.

In winter, our guests are close to Okemo, Killington, Stratton, Bromley, Ascutney and Magic ski resorts. Going mobile without your car is a treat too. Bike tours take you through Vermont up close and personal, and we're within walking distance to the Chester green, with its many fine shops and restaurants; a stroll down a quiet Vermont dirt road is closer still.

Our comfortable rooms, all with private baths are furnished with antiques, and comfortable beds. Most of our rooms have queen size beds, but we also offer twin bed rooms, king bed and two room suites, perfect for families. Wireless internet is available.

Relax and enjoy the "Great Room." It offers areas to play games, read, play the piano or just sit and watch television. Down the hall is our reading nook, the perfect place to sit and read from our library. Wireless Internet is available.
