![]() Since 1982 the Inn has been a haven for those wishing to escape the city, a home away from home for families to relax and enjoy nature, and a place for couples to rekindle romance. There are 12 bedrooms in the main house, four with private bath, four with half-bath, and four with shared bath (which is a large bathroom in the hall, just like in your own home). The rooms, which are quaintly decorated with antiques, each have one bed, and are meant for two people, however some can accommodate a cot for a small child. All rooms have air conditioning during the summer months. Hidden in the woods, on the far shore of the lake, is the Little Walnut Cabin. It is only a short walk from the main house. This private three-bedroom cabin is perfect for families or small groups and can house up to seven people comfortably. Pets are also allowed in the Little Walnut. Breakfast is served in a large dining room at individual tables, with full-length picture windows overlooking the large lake. Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast that includes cereal, eggs, bacon, fruit salad, bagels and cream cheese. Iced tea is served to guests on summer afternoons. The Inn overlooks the lake. Other amenities include a riding stable, petting zoo, outdoor hot tub, hiking trails, horseback riding, paddle/row boating, birdwatching, catch/release fishing, outdoor games, game room, pool table, table tennis, air hockey.
