 Located on our own Mountaintop, whether you are in your room or on our outdoor decks or gazebo, you will experience the spectacular views of the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina, the panoramic views of Lake Chatuge and magnificent sunsets. When you stay with us you will see why our speciality is helping you make romantic memories that will linger long after your stay has ended. Full breakfast buffet each morning at 9AM, and homemade dessert buffet each evening by candlelight. Enjoy the incredible views from your room or on our outdoor decks and gazebo. The perfect place to celebrate special occasions or for no reason at all. Guests enjoy a full "skip lunch" breakfast buffet served in our panoramic view dining room. Breakfast is served by the fire during chilly months. An elegant late evening dessert buffet is served nightly by candlelight in our dining room, with our compliments. Area Attractions and Activities: Mountain Memories is located in Hiawassee, a very quaint mountain town that offers something for everyone. You will find many antique shops, one of the best quilt shops in the nation, craft stores of every variety, a true five and dime store, restaurants, Saturday evening concerts on the town square, and much more to explore. Hiawassee also offers the outdoor enthusiasts the chance to hike, fish, golf, go whitewater rafting, horseback riding, boating and much, much more. Surrounded by National Forests, Hiawassee's beauty will make you want to come back time after time.
