Bed and Breakfast Description

For decades, visitors arrived by rail at the Southern Railway's Balsam station, which was the highest railway station east of the Rockies. Passengers dissembarked on cool, starry summer evenings and took slow strolls or carriage rides to the inn, which stood, a symbol of grandhospitality, on the ridge above.
