Stonover Farm is a 110-year-old Berkshire "cottage" which served as farmhouse to the Stonover Estate, and which has been renovated extensively. Luxury accommodations include 3 suites & 2 self-contained cottages.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Stonover Farm offers all the beauty and serenity of a grand country inn, while providing all the conveniences of a first class city hotel, including 4 fireplaces, living room, greenhouse, library, dining room, sunny breakfast room, a patio and courtyard that overlooks the pond,

A full cooked-to-order country breakfast in the morning then wine and cheese is served in the late afternoon. We try our best to accommodate any dietary preferences. Breakfast is served in the Creamery overlooking the pond, or, if you prefer, in the dining room or outside in the courtyard. Fresh-squeezed juice, fresh-ground coffee, fresh fruit salad, breads, bagels, muffins, preserves, Suky’s homemade granola, yogurt, cold cereals, European butter and cream cheese are offered buffet style, and we are happy to prepare eggs, omelette's, bacon, sausage, pancakes or French toast upon request.

Other conveniences & amenities include bath robes, air conditioning in all suites (each with bedroom, sitting room and bath), private complimentary phones with voice mail, Sony flat-screen televisions, DVD players with DVD movie library, and Bose Wave radio / CD players with a selection of music for enjoyment in the suites. A guest computer equipped with high-speed Internet access as well as universal wireless access throughout -- all this in a stunning, peaceful country setting.

The Berkshires offer a wealth of activities and destinations for every taste. While we are just a short walk from Tanglewood, we are also just a short drive from many local cultural attractions: Arrowhead (Herman Melville's home), opera, theater, ski resorts, museums, Hancock Shaker Village, The Mount (Edith Wharton's Home), Norman Rockwell Museum, and more.

Suite One: This 3-room suite occupies one side of the second floor. The bedroom, with queen bed and twin wall reading lamps, offers a view of the courtyard and woods. Features a sitting room complete with entertainment armoire that houses a 27" Sony TV.

School House: the sitting room has a gas fireplace, mini-fridge and Sony plasma TV, DVD player, Bose Wave Radio / CD player and high-speed internet access. The spacious bath has 4 windows, a two-sink vanity, a 2-headed shower and a Jacuzzi tub for two.
