Home Stay at Evans Bay is a five minute drive in either direction to the heart of Wellington, New Zealand's capital city, or to the airport, making this a very convenient location to stay.

Walk across the road to a swimming beach or relax in the peaceful surroundings no matter what the season. Home Stay at Evans Bay captures the sun all day and during the colder months the home is comfortably heated.

A recent New York Times review mentioned that, "Multilingual Leisha Schuitema has traveled extensively, adores meeting people, and "doesn't feel alive" until she has dipped her hands into her cooking bowls. She'll spoil you with edible delicacies and a warm welcome beyond compare."

A delicious gourmet breakfast is served either in the dining room or outside in the very private rose garden. Other meals are available on request. Relax in the comfortable lounge and dining room to enjoy breakfast (or other meals if requested), watch Sky TV on our "big screen" or just enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views.

In each room there are tea and coffee making facilities, Sky TV, electric blankets and complimentary chocolates, biscuits and mineral water. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and drinks are served on arrival. Free pick-up at the airport or rental cars may be arranged in advance.

Visit Te Papa (Our Place) Museum of New Zealand in Wellington. Many excellent restaurants are over the road on the waters edge. 5 minutes to Miramar Golf Links, an excellent 18 hole links golf course. Dinner cruise on Wellington harbor leaves from just across the road. Olympic swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym all 5 minutes away. Ask us to book a tour, show or even a therapeutic massage.

Our Queen room has like the others ,a beautiful full view over the water with morning sun. It has Sky television and a library with sitting area and built in kitchenette with coffee/tea/ and chocolate making facilities. There is music and Sky television
