There are 42 rooms in the colonial Hotel Rosario. One block of rooms is in the restored area of the original colonial building. The last renovation was done in 2006. The newer blocks follow the design and decoration of the colonial section.
All of the rooms have either twin or double beds, a telephone for local, national & international calls and there is Wi-Fi in most of the rooms. Private bathrooms with hot showers all day, towels and toiletries are provided for convenience and comfort.

Area Attractions and Activities:
La Paz is a place where ancient structures, colonial houses and modern buildings are standing next to each other. This demonstrates the many contrasts and different cultures that exist within the city.
The city of La Paz attracts many native Aymara people from the rural areas, in the streets they wear their typical costumes and keep their culture alive. The cholas of La Paz are selling everywhere in the city. Hotel Rosario is situated directly in the commercial zone of the native people of La Paz and is full of their culture and art.
Visit the witches market, the crafts markets and the museums all close by. San Fransisco Church is 3 blocks away. Half day tours to Tiwanaku ruins and Chacaltaya mountain.
Two day tours to Titicaca Lake and Sun Island, and to the semitropical Yungas Valley are available by prior arrangement.
