Bird's Eye View Lodge
Crooked Tree Village, Belize.
Bird's Eye View Lodge is a Belizean family owned 18 room eco-lodge situated in the heart of the Crooked Tree Sanctuary. The top neotropical birding site in Belize is Crooked Tree and the Bird's Eye View Lodge is the place to stay.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Bird's Eye View is 33-miles north of Belize City, a two-mile causeway off the highway leads to a tiny oasis that teems with life. Sandwiched by two lagoons there lies Crooked Tree, the sleepy Creole village of narrow sandy lanes lined with cashew trees.
No matter what time of year, a trip to Crooked Tree is an experience with friendly, local people and natural beauty. During the dry season, the lagoons shrink in size creating a high concentration of fish and a banquet for thousands of birds, including the famous jabiru stork.
Bird's Eye View Lodge & Tours is a special place to us. It is our home, life and treasure. The five of us --Verna, Lenny, Kira, Dino and Stephanie-- are all family. Each of us has become an expert in at least one aspect of your experience here.
Home cooked meals are 'something to look forward to' and how to describe any of Stephanie's meals, whether it's a full morning's breakfast after a birding trip, or a 3-course dinner after an active day spent at Crooked Tree and the surrounding areas.

The Black creek tour is full of birds and wild howler monkeys along the river banks. Lenny's boat is very comfortable, the tours are thoroughly scenic.
The Sanctuary boasts over 300 different species of birds. The lodge is often used as a hub to do day tours to nearby Lamanai, Altun Ha, Community Baboon Sanctuary and Belize Zoo.
