Ingredients: 12 slices French or Italian Bread (thickly cut)
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup real maple syrup
2 eggs beaten
Maple Butter:
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 cup softened unsalted butter
Instructions: Combine milk, syrup and eggs. Dip bread into mixture and cook in butter in a large skillet until brown on both sides. Serve warm with Maple Butter and more syrup.
Maple Butter:
Beat softened butter and maple syrup until light and fluffy.
