Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 1/4 cups white flour
1 cup of softened butter

Instructions:
Beat the cream until stiff. Sift the dry ingredients salt, flour, baking powder and add the cream. Mix thoroughly. Add the softened butter until all the ingredients are well combined. Chill the dough for several hours.

Notes:
This dough is very quick and easy to make. It has a rich, delicious buttery taste and is perfect for pies and pasties. It freezes well. This is a quick alternative if you don't have time to make butter pastry the traditional way.
