Cinnamon Mornings and Chocolate Dreams

Cook Time: 20 min 
  

Ingredients:
2 cups milk (scalded)
1 cup butter
2 pks. yeast
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs (beaten)
6 cups flour approx.

Instructions:
Cool milk and added sugar - cream.
Put yeast in a little warm water and a pinch of sugar. Add salt, eggs, and yeast.
Slowly add flour and let the mixer do the kneading.
When the dough is stiff. Scrape onto a floured surface, let rest for 5 minutes.
Finish kneading till the dough is slightly tacky.
Put in bowl and let rise till double
At this point I don't use any more flour.
Punch down.
Take a pice about the size of a large grape fruit and pat into a rectable 4 inches wide and 1 inch high.
Cut into strips 1 inch wide, dip in melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
Tie this strip into a bow knot and put on cookie sheets.
Let rise and and bake approx. 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Place on a cooling rack.
