I just want you to know that I feel this is the greatest list of breakfast food recipes that I have ever come across. Believe me, I surf the web many hours a day and I am lucky to have found this web site. Keep up the good work.

Cook Time: 40 minPrep Time: 10 min
Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:
4 cups of any kind of fruit (Cherries and berries are our favorite)
1 stick butter
1/3 cup sweetening (sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc)
3/4 c whole wheat flour
1 c oatmeal
cinnamon nutmeg to taste

Instructions:
spread the fruit in a buttered shallow casserole and sprinkle or drizzle some sweetening on the fruit and cinnamon or other spice.
soften the butter in the microwave in a four cup glass measuring cup.
stir in the sweetening.
stir in the flour and oatmeal.
Spread the oatmeal mix over the fruit fairly evenly.
Bake for about forty minutes at 350o F.

Notes:
This complements a savory frittata when you want to have something for everyone. Our guests love this. We sometimes put this in our little heart shaped casseroles for the romantic breakfast set!
